Elmhurst, IL – Burroughs, Inc., the largest independent service provider in North America for the full lifecycle management of payment and transaction automation, unattended self-service technology, robotic automation systems, and connected IoT technology, has entered into a strategic agreement to be acquired by Loomis, a leader in the cash management and payments industry.
This trailblazing partnership aligns with Loomis' strategy to broaden its ATM and Automated Solutions service offering within the U.S. and is in line with Burroughs’ continued strategy to diversify its service and solutions offering across all of its chosen end markets and applications in the U.S. and Canada.

Burroughs digital-first including on-site, first-and second-line service offering across payment and transaction automation, unattended self-service technology, robotic automation systems, and connected IoT technologies coupled with their approach to predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and depot repair will allow the company and Loomis to offer a comprehensive service model targeted at ATMs and Automated Solutions in the financial institution and retail environment, that is second to none.

The acquisition is expected to be finalized by the end of Q2-2025.
