2019 has proven to be a very busy year, indeed!



In February, a core management group went to Orlando for the annual ATMIA conference.  Burroughs’ booth featured a coffee barista which drew a large crowd to our booth. While we had people waiting in line for coffee we asked them to complete a short industry survey.  Through that survey we were able to gain invaluable insight into what financial and retail businesses struggle with and what they need most from their service provider. We also used this tool to gather information from IADs and OEMs on what they expect from their business partners. This information will help Burroughs look at our solutions and go-to-market plans to ensure that we continue providing the service and solutions these businesses need.

Also in February, our retail team hosted a booth at a new conference for Burroughs- National Grocers Association. This conference featured c-level executives, store owners and front-line store managers from grocery stores, supermarkets and other retailers making purchasing decisions. The turnout was great with 3500+ independent retailers.   

 

 

The last week of March was the Greater New England Credit Union Show. Burroughs has been represented for 3 straight years at this show. Mark Marlett had the opportunity to introduce himself to many credit unions in the New England Area and have several one on one conversations to educate local credit unions on Burroughs’ service solutions.

Where else can you find Burroughs in 2019? Our plans include the National Association of Convenience Stores in Atlanta, the Miser User Group in Clearwater Beach, and Future Branches in Austin, Texas. Hopefully we will see you there!
